Wearing Instructions for Your Sling
WARNING
Preventing proper air flow to the baby may cause suffocation and/or death. Check baby frequently while wearing your sling to ensure proper positioning and keep objects and material away from baby’s face to ensure a clear source of air.
Do not use your sling near an open flame or stove.
Before each use, inspect your sling for tears, holes, loose seams or any conditions that may cause you or your baby discomfort or injury. If you find any abnormalities in the product, please discontinue use.
Do not wear your sling if you are pregnant.
USING YOUR SLING
Please read all instructions carefully before using your sling.
Your sling is intended for use with one baby, up to 25 lbs (11.5 kg).
Sit or stand in a safe position when putting baby in and taking baby out of your sling.
Your sling is intended for use by adults with no health issues to carry babies. Adults suffering from back, shoulder, and/or neck pain should not use the sling.
Support an older baby with increased mobility when they shift position in your sling.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Always bend your knees, not your waist, to keep baby in the proper position and prevent back strain.
Do not cook, drink hot beverages, or eat hot food while wearing your sling.
Never lie down with baby in your sling.
Do not wear your sling while running, jumping, biking, or operating any type of motorized vehicle.\Do not use your sling in place of a federally approved car seat.
Never wear baby on your back in your sling.
Use your hands to support baby when you are wearing your sling, when you bend your knees to sit down, and when you twist or turn.
Provide ample room for baby when moving through doorways or around corners.
Never leave baby unattended in your sling.
Do not alter your sling.
WARNING - FALL HAZARD
Failure to follow each of the following warnings and the assembly, use and care instructions can result in serious injury or death.
ONLY use carrier with children up to 25 lbs.
Child MUST face towards you until he or she can hold head upright (about 4 to 5 months old).
NEVER leave the child in carrier unless being worn by caregiver. Child may suffocate or fall.
DO NOT bend over at waist; bend at knees.
DO NOT use in exercise activities or motorized vehicles.
DISCONTINUE USE if damaged, broken or parts are missing.
DO NOT go near hot objects or strike other objects.
DO NOT use carrier on your back.
DO NOT put items into the carrier with child. This may interfere with child’s ability to breathe.
MAKE SURE child’s body parts are clear when adjusting rings to prevent pinching (ADJUSTABLE SLING ONLY)
